Questions about RISA®

Is this a sales pitch?

No. The assessment shows you a profile. What we do with it is a conversation you can end at any time, and it costs you nothing.

Do I need a certain amount saved?

This planning works best for people who have at least $500,000 saved for retirement.

Can my style change?

Less than you might think. Unlike risk tolerance, which can shift with markets or circumstances, research suggests your income style tends to stay fairly stable over time. We still revisit it in reviews, since a major life change can move it.

Can my spouse and I have different styles?

Often. It is common, and it is one of the most useful things to surface early. We look at both.

Does RISA® tell you what to buy?

No. It’s an input to a plan, not a recommendation.

What happens to my answers?

We store your answers securely and only use them to prepare your results and follow up about your plan. We don’t sell your information. See our Personal Information Form for more on your privacy choices.
